Mental Health

Individual Therapy

This is a form of therapy in which the client is treated one-on-one with a therapist. The most popular form of therapy, individual therapy may encompass many different treatment styles including interpersonal, psycho-dynamic, and cognitive- behavioral therapy

Couple/Martial Therapy

This type of therapy helps spouses and partners understand why their loved one has a mental disorder, what changes in communication and behaviors can help, and what they can do to cope.

Family Therapy

Because family is a key part of the team that helps people with mental illness get better, it is sometimes helpful for family members to understand what their loved one is going through, how they themselves can cope, and what they can do to help.

Therapeutic Groups

Two or more patients may participate in therapy at the same time. Patients are able to share experiences and learn that others feel the same way and have had the same experiences. Therapeutic Groups are designed to serve individuals with impaired functioning who would benefit from a structured program providing curriculum-based services. Services are provided to build resilience, and to support the recovery and/or well-being of individuals and the integration of individuals served into the community.

Regardless of which program is attended, education and resources are provided.
Medical oversight by a psychologist and therapy by licensed therapists can assist patients make noticeable progress in a relatively short period of time.

The IOP team works closely with a patient’s private therapist to ensure the continuum of care with transition back to private therapy is uninterrupted. Continuing care is available weekly at NO CHARGE to patients who have completed IOP and desire further therapeutic support to prevent relapse.
